When you want to make a jewelry, but you need a glass of help…

Hello world :)

I just wrapped up a small jewelry project with fire agates. Maybe they will fly into the shop as little pioneers.

I’ve been suffering getting this website up, figuring out buttons, pages, layouts, colors. I am unsure what the aesthetics of a science and fantasy, nature and art lover is, without looking like a hippy bard dissolving into the mists. I’m also scared to look like I’m selling things I do not connect with.

Things I don’t want are like, astrology and tarot, all that aesthetic. It makes me depressed, I do not connect with it. It is too unmoored. I like to know things. I am a jack of all trades, master of none, but often times better than a master of one. I am a sign post, with many arrows, that can confidently point to a tangible end. I am not a huge fan of mysticism.

But I do emotionally connect with topics. I give body to the thoughts and knowledge that have linked arms and created a cascade of feelings that ripped through my heart and out my hands. That is how I create. Sometimes it’ll be from fantasy, from science, nature. Everyone notices that all I care to create is animals and creatures. I like to escape into nature, books, and science. I get lost in the flow while externalizing my learnings. Or sometimes mournings. Or frustrations. Or passions. Or inspirations. Or doodles. That’s how my art is.

So I’ve been working on this website and wondering what all those feelings should even look like. I tend to like the way everything looks like on a black background. But white is to stark to read, but the off purple is nice. Now I look like a goth kid over here… but that is where I’ve landed for the time being. If I don’t take this tame route I’ll end up with a technicolor sunset for a website. Even my logo is a little goth. I am the least goth ever.

Should I maybe do green? I garden and love nature after all…
